Requirements & FAQ
Mandatory documentation, insurance, and booking policies for our expeditions.
1. Travel & Rescue Insurance (Mandatory)
All riders must carry a personal travel insurance policy that explicitly covers riding motorcycles over 400cc.
For Himalayan expeditions (Ladakh, Spiti, Nepal), your policy MUST include high-altitude helicopter rescue coverage (up to 5,000m).
We do not assume medical or evacuation costs. You will not be allowed to join the expedition without valid proof of this insurance.
As an official agency, we recommend the following partners. Use our links to get a discount:
- Global RescueThe gold standard for high-altitude helicopter rescue.
- World NomadsExcellent global coverage for motorcycle adventures.
- IATI SegurosPremium coverage tailored for riders.
2. Visa & Passport
Passengers are strictly responsible for obtaining the appropriate Indian visa based on their nationality and the duration of their expedition. The agency does not guarantee the granting of visas.
The official e-Tourist Visa (1-year and 5-year options) generally permits a maximum stay of 180 days per calendar year. Please verify the latest regulations directly with Indian immigration authorities.
Passports must meet all validity and available page requirements established by the Indian government.
3. International Driving Permit
You must present a valid national motorcycle license AND a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) with the motorcycle category clearly endorsed, along with your passport and visa.
Local operators will verify these documents before handing over the motorcycle.
4. Motorcycle Security Deposit
To cover physical damage to the bike (e.g., drops, broken components), a pre-authorized Security Deposit of USD $750 to $1,000 will be held on your credit card on Day 1.
We follow a strict protocol: Pre-ride photo inspection → Post-ride inspection → Damage report → Deposit release.
Riders hold contractual liability for damages up to the limit established in the Rider Agreement.
