South India Motorcycle Expedition
A vibrant 15-day plunge into the lush, tropical half of the subcontinent. Ride from the Bay of Bengal to the Arabian Sea, cutting through tea estates, ancient maritime outposts, and the legendary ruins of Hampi.
Expedition brief
This is the route pioneered by the Cerberus Club of Hyderabad and our original 14 riders. It is a sensory overload compared to the starkness of the North.
You begin in the dry Deccan Plateau, hit the East Coast, and ride down to Kanyakumari — the absolute southern tip of India where three oceans meet.
From there, you carve your way up the western coast through the spice plantations of Kerala, where we stop to witness the ancient and lethal martial art of Kalaripayattu.
The expedition wraps up with a mandatory fleet-maintenance rest on the beaches of Goa before a fast blast back to base via the stone empire of Hampi.

Rider requirements
- Valid passport and the correct India/Nepal visa for the itinerary.
- Valid motorcycle licence plus International Driving Permit (IDP).
- Travel medical insurance covering adventure motorcycle touring and emergency assistance.
